Bank

With all due respect you won't get posters behaving after a few days unless you and other mods can do the 'modding' 24/7 and enforce every rule going. No one wants that.

Save yourself the aggro, shut the site down and put it out of its misery

North
Fair play then mate and thanks for your efforts
Loved this place for it's chaos and casual cunting for years under a few names changed only by loss of user name/ e mail addy
Would be a shame to lose it all together as the last couple of days have proved
As an aside, could there be a subscription area where we can cunt at will, away from the objecting lemons?

The site doesn’t need shutting down. It just needs to be re-vamped. The best part has always been the off-the-wallness and banter. Some people mistake this for a free pass to be racist, sexist or homophobic. Unless you still think Bernard Manning and Jim Davidson are funny then that isn’t entertaining at all.

Serious question - can the hosting company not be someone in a jurisdiction that doesn't subscribe to all this fucking bullshit?

neilalex that's something we're looking at but we had to move servers on short notice as the old one couldn't handle the database and kept falling over

cup of tea not sure why you keep banging that drum, all we're saying is behave until we know what the boundaries are, if you dislike the site you know where the door is

This is why we can’t have nice things.

Absolutely seriously North Bank - I'm sure people on here would kick in for the cost to keep it as is, if that's the issue? I certainly would. If it becomes PC that will be the death of it in a very short space of time.

I neither love or hate the site. It won't bother me what happens as I tend to treat posters how they treat me. Just saying that if you think posters (small minority) will adhere to rules after a short while you are naieve unless it's moderated 24/7

Let's be honest here, the WHO rules have been in place for YEARS and as far as I can see rarely enforced so why bother having them?

Anything to do with this per chance?

“We have some problems at the London Stadium caused to a degree by the terms of our lease, which we are tackling, but also by malcontents and keyboard warriors.”

Karren Brady May 12, 2018

WHO WAS the only site that said and continues to say it how it is regarding the owners asset stripping of the club and I believe the only online West Ham supporters forum group not represented or invited by Brady to air their views at the LS.

RIP WHO

If I recall correctly, it was on the thread about the Israeli slaughter of unarmed Palestinians, a user whose name escapes me, said that he was inclined to report this website to OFCOM.

It looks like he followed through on that.
